Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the manager and registered nurse, the Certified Surgical Technician provides safe and efficient care to the patient in the operating room. Included in this assignment is a strong working knowledge of the perioperative setting and effective communication skills in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Graduate of a formal training program in operating room technology, must pass CST exam within 180 days of graduation.

• Two years Operating Room Experience preferred.

• Certification CST by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or TS-C by National Center for Competency Testing.
