We’re seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Nurse to provide holistic care that spans physical, emotional, and educational needs—ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.

🌟 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered plans of care
• Administer medications, manage IVs, perform wound care, and collect specimens
• Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and evaluate effectiveness of teaching
• Advocate for patient rights, safety, and well-being in all care interactions
• Serve as a clinical mentor and support team development
• Use quality improvement data and evidence-based research to improve outcomes
• Float to nearby CommonSpirit locations as needed (within 60 miles)

🛠 Required Skills & Certifications:

• 1+ year recent experience preferred
• Proficient in core RN responsibilities and L&D-specific skills
• RN license (state or compact - NLC)
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• NRP – Required
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN Certification – Required

🎓 Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
